Worked with Film Director May Joseph to direct, produce, and create title sequence graphics, animated paintings, and an overall graphics package for his film “Where The Wind Blows”.
The film documents artists in Bhutan who are working in the traditional medium on Thanka Paintings.

Title Sequence

The title sequence was created in After Effects using primarily drone footage that Max shot in Bhutan. The footage is motion tracked, composited, and treated with titles.

Thanka Paintings

With animation, it was our goal to bring the paintings to life. The work involved a photoshop and after effects heavy process to break apart the paintings and put them back together. We worked diligently to preserve the nature of the images while also adding entertainment value for the film.
Graphics

Working off the paint and canvas theme, we created a graphics package that utilized water color motion, paint and canvas texture with a clean sans-serif font.
